Hi,
I'm Jo. I am a practicing midwife with five years experience in all aspects of maternity care.
I am a mother of two young children and currently work in The Hemel Birth Center.
I have an interest in all midwifery but my true love is active birth and antenatal education.
I received my Bsc Hons in Midwifery in 1998 whilst studying at the University of Hertfordshire.
In addition to my work at the birth center, I coordinate the
Parentcraft
classes for St Albans and
Harpenden as well as being one of the teachers. I also teach private one to one parentcraft classes.
I am also a qualified
Aquanatal teacher. I cover classes for the
local authority in the
Townsend School pool
and at
Cannons Health Club both in St Albans.
